Detailed Game Info currently lacking--this hurts newer players. I created a guide to fill the gap.

I'm impressed with the changes Riot has made to the new player experience on the website and on the PBE, and the direction they are continuing to move, but I think their material lacks the depth that serious players seek.

Some newer or unskilled players play simply for fun. The current brief and concise Game Info is sufficient for them. However, other players want to take their gameplay to the next level. Finding the information they need is difficult. I often find myself teaching crucial game knowledge that I can't even remember the source for!

I decided to write a guide (read it here) containing everything I consider core LoL knowledge. Rioters, please take a look at it, and consider accommodating in-depth game information to your website, instead of leaving players to completely rely on outside resources.

A+, always like me some Mobafire, that site got me through my new player phase as well.

I especially like the additional info section! Seriously, awesome work.

Wow. I keep scrolling. And scrolling. Whole time I'm hearing "but wait, there's more!".

Awesome job!

A good thing on the "Finding the information" theme (or clarity for rioter I believe) will be tu put the same abity description in the champion ability page than the one we got in the abitlity window when we are in game.

I said that because, when you choose what rune/masteries you take before a match, knowing if the champ abilities scales more with ad/ap/mr/... will be a great help.

For exemple, if I play varus for a first time, knowing before the match than his ult have a 100% ap bonus is difficult cause magic is never mentioned in the ability description. Same goes for tristaa w and e, and I assumed that a lot of champ have that kind of hidden for no reason power scaling :s
