friend box

I was thinking as to how nice it would be to have a box on the right side of the page where we could see our friends on our friends list. Some things i would like to see would be...

• See who is online/offline
• See If they are on the forums or the client
• Messaging in similar fashion to the client through the browser
• Adding/removing friend functions
• One click to view their profile of boards visited/comments made/boards created
• A possible follow function

Personally i feel that this feature will make it easier for people in this community to socialize with one another. Find like minded individuals to share ideas and discuss before posting to allow better, clearer posts. A simpler way of communicating with someone without having to open the launcher, re-log in and keep the client open just to chat with people you might not know well enough to share Skype info with. Also the follower function will allow you to seek out the posts of someone you find interesting and not force them to have to have you on their friends list. You guys already have most of these systems in place through the client, and i am sure you could find a way to bridge the two and allow us access to a feature like this Online, while on the forums.
