Twenty pages. 157 downvotes. Almost two weeks. No Pendragon (or anyone) in GD.

Given that the people in General Discussion are going to be the people most affected by the proposed changes to the website, it makes sense that Pendragon would keep the thread announcing the Community site updated.

Instead, he has elected to move all of the discussion over here, where most of the people in GD won't see it.

I'm curious. Why can't we have a discussion about the Community site in the actual forums? The only answer I've heard is "because it will get buried under all of the hatred," and that was only a guess from some random poster over here. A Rioter has yet to actually chime in and answer.

We need more people with more opinions. Giving the impression to GD that you guys actually care about the community site would go a long way towards getting more people in here. A stickied topic that is almost two weeks old with no Rioter activity doesn't make it look like you guys care about their opinions, when you SHOULD.

Right now, it doesn't matter how often you post here in the community site, because the majority of the community can't see your enthusiasm.

So I challenge you guys to go to the forums and let them know that you DO care.

You're assuming two things here.

  1. That just because they don't reply that they don't read it.

  2. That they're not busting their balls currently with huge human resource problems due to upcoming season 4 changes and testing.

It's a little hard to post especially a big comprehensive one, when you're doing your own work and helping 3 other people out at the same time.

And I challenge anybody and everybody that's complaining on GD to get over here and actually use it before passing judgment. In my opinion, if people aren't willing to take the time to try the place out and leave proper feedback on it, then they certainly shouldn't expect Riot to respond to what has become a bit of a hostile thread filled with people who are against it simply because they're afraid of change.
