Some times I do that, but why do you want to rip in to grass?
The GD board isn't included in most of the functionality of the platform. It is listed as a board, but it does not display on the home page and follows different rules. I think it's intended to be separate from the rest of the Boards.
The reason I mention that is that it's not technically part of the Boards. I agree that users within the GD board should be able to search within themselves, however.
