Board filters and updates on Boards development?

A while ago there was some discussion on reformatting the boards, along with some general quality of life improvements. Those modifications were postponed after a discussion with the forum-goers, who generally preferred changes other than those offered. One of these desired changes was, of course, the ability to filter certain boards (usually Memes & Games and Fantasy LCS) from one's front page feed.

Is there any chance of a moderate change like that one being made while larger alterations are discussed? Might we have another discussion with the boards team to see where they are currently thinking of going with the forum layout? To the players: What aspect of the Boards would you like to see changed or kept as-is?
