Would it be convenient to add a filtering system for the front page?

A filtering system that would allow us to choose which boards we see on the front page would be really nice. The front page is great for seeing which posts have been catching lots of conversation, but there is a lot of uninteresting or annoying content from specific boards (looking at you, Memes & Games) that I would really like to be able to cut out without viewing only a single board at a time. Something like check-boxes next to the listed boards for controlling inclusion and exclusion would be a very helpful feature if it can be added without much trouble.
