When there is something trending (aka fiora right now) and you want to make a post how you dislike how everyone is posting about her, but then people will see that your posting about her, but you really only dislike how people just post the same complaints about a champ, yet people downvote because they think you're trying to say more things about the champ, yet you just want people to condcese the post about the champ and have more variety on the boards

Never thought of it like that. I always assumed that when people got massive down votes like that it was because they offered an opinion differing from the angry mob's. Or you made a joke and it went way over my head.

I dont know what it is, but you can have a post that can get dpwnvoted to hell, yet another post can be posted later with the same stuff and it could be updvoted to heaven. I dont know if its the time of day or if its the wording but there is a paradox with the boards.....and people dont like when you point it out so they downvote you.
