What? No, smaller! It better be smaller, the only thing we need bigger is the stat screen. I know my abilities and all I need to see for them is the amount of time until they come off cooldown, which I can still see just fine in itty bitty 8 pt font at the bottom of my screen.

Disclaimer: I haven't played using the new HUD yet. Thus, I have no opinion on it.

Basing majority/minority valuations on the forums is a falicy by default. A minority of the player base use the forums. Further, the NA forums don't represent the global market.

Seriously thought I might not be one of those "true league players" because I haven't been playing since season 2, but after about a year on this game the new HUD update seems fine to me. Granted on the first game I used it I was so lost but it only took me a couple of games to get the hang of things. +1 for the HUD update -1 for the stubborn community who sound like 80yrs complaining about the changing world.

I like minimalist HUDs, I don't really know why people want half the screen taken up by icons and such.

If you don't scale down the HUD it takes up a HUGE portion of the screen, which is why I'm glad you can scale them separately and focus on what you need to.

Also, "C" not pulling up a huge menu is a great change. I'm not the most mechanically skilled player, so I ended up bringing up stats when I wanted to ping a lot.

To me I am indiffrent to it, but I saw so many posts today saying how its awful, how people are threating to quit, people are moving on to a diffrent game, and I thought this GIF summed it up. To me I think everyone will come to terms with it by next week

Yeah, every single game I've ever played, every website I've ever seen, they change the way their controls look and everyone starts complaining, then it dies down completely after a couple weeks once people get used to seeing it.

Idk what it is about this week, but with fiora, the hud, GP, and this event, people seem just angry in and disappointed in alot of posts.

It's nothing unusual, any time there is a major change, you find a vocal minority flooding the boards with their hatred and dissatisfaction and then acting like they are a majority because they are the ones yelling.
