Disappearing Threads?

At first I thought it was only threads that were name dropping, however this thread for example:

I got an update that someone had replied. It was someone having issues opening the LoL patcher. I click on the update, and it won't open the thread. I checked the Help + Support forum and it's gone? Can anyone else get into this?

It's not the first one, but definitely one I'm not sure of why it was deleted, if that's what happened...

Edit: also the fact that there's no error, just a white page, is annoying. This seems to happen with deleted thread - why no handler for deleted threads?
