I've been away for a while. here's a quick summary: I live in another country and play in a different server. Transfered my old "real" NA account to my server. Still had this lvl 11 account in the NA server I find it quite a bit unfair to be now prohibited from participating in GD for basically not being in the US rito pls
Look in the top left corner of the page. In my case it says "OCEANA (ENGLISH) v" but yours will say something more like "NORTH AMERICA (ENGLISH) v". Click on it, and select the server that your main account is on, and log in using that account if you aren't already, and you'll be able to post here.
It's done to block off spambots, smurfs, etc.
you don't need a na acc to post on na boards, see i'm on euw (have a na acc too though) it's a bit bugged though with some rare random log offs (just briefly visit the board of your server and go back, it's something with cookies i suppose)
so I was a bit busy those last couple of days, but now I'm back and tried switching. Seems like the only available options for the NA boards are North America, EU West, EU Nordic & East, Oceania
So I still can't go to GD because I play in another server :(
As a person who just got posting permissions for ANYTHING, and was frustrated I had no place to discuss things sooner, I have learned I have no reason to join GD.
Sure, I might want to, but I'm not a big part of the community (I barely know what the community is like) so the lack of option helps me focus on getting involved in the game and/or learning about the community through the specific boards. Things we want aren't always good for us.

Every server has its own GD. Why do you want to discuss general topics with people you don't, and never will, play with?
(Also, it looks like you're still level 11, which means you couldn't access any GD)
I don't think the answer lies with Riot changing the way they handle the boards. I think the problem is the root of this desire. Dig that up, and take an honest look, and then you can better present your case, if indeed you still find the desire worthy of feeding.
