Board Clarity

I was just thinking that it might be helpful for both the staff and the players if 2 boards were broken down into their own categories. Namely, Skins & Champion Concepts and Gameplay & Balance.

I think it would make it so much easier to have a board where only Gameplay questions go and another only for Balance questions The same can be said for Skins & Champion Concepts. A board for just Skin concepts and a board for just Champion concepts.

I think it would make following the boards easier for both the staff and fellow players.

I have to admit, I'm surprised you're asking for a separation of certain boards and didn't mention Story & Art. In my personal opinion that is by the far the most nonsensical board on the platform, as it combines two completely unrelated disciplines.

That being said, Riot's reasoning here is that there isn't enough population density to separate the boards that cater to multiple concepts simultaneously. My main question there is generally along the lines of "is anything being done to increase the platform's active population?", because it seems like a strange line of logic if the answer to that question is "no".

TLDR, maybe. The thing with Gameplay & Balance is that the two concepts are usually heavily entwined. A champion being balanced improperly affects gameplay, and different gameplay considerations can relate back to balance issues.

Edit: What is going on with the Boards right now? o.O
