A two step Security?

Since i posted in the wrong Discussion i was asked to post in this one hopefully everyone see's this and i know it must have been discussed already but how come league doesn't set up a 2 step verification? Like if i sign onto a different electronic device League would send a code to my email letting me know that i need to verify that the laptop is safe. So that way our account could be a bit more secure and safe. Because i know for sure that if our account got compromised and it wasn't our fault and yet we got blamed and our account got banned that would be one of the most frustrating thing ever. So hopefully people would agree with this idea. Because as a player that has been playing for years ever since the league demo i want Riot to actually be more secure with League just to be safe. Because my nephew account was compromised a couple months ago. and i would hate to see that happen to other people too. Especially the people that have been playing this since day one.

They have been working on it, according to the Riot Games Security page. No ETA on when that might arrive, though.

2FA seems like something they would put in the new Client once they've got it fully up to date with the old client in terms of stability and functionality. Now that the new Client is seeing widespread use, hopefully they can let us know a potential roadmap for future additions in functionality to it and extend that to the Boards/League sites via the onelogin feature.
