i mean, every time you see a "what's your favorite champion" or "what champion would you be in really life" posts you can see rioters talking on it more than normal players, but when we have a real question like "what crossed your mind when you made illaoi" or "dear riot please look at (blank), i think it has a problem" NO answers, at all. aren't you supposed to listen you players guys?....
come on riot... you make me sad....
They don't reply to every single thread because most questions you can think of have already been answered. They'd just be repeating themselves/someone else. All you need to do is put in some effort to search for what you want.
And obviously that'd be time consuming.
because not all rioters are at liberty to discuss, speculate, or unleash details unless given the okay. Not much different from any other company.
A lot of the rioters respond to those type of threads are not directly involved it league of legends , most of the time they are in from research and development or Player behavior , or narrative as such they would not have a opinion on the creation aspect , witch is why champion ama were made. Riot has also stated that they are more likely to respond if there is a specific question preferably a question that is more objective using your example " what crossed your mind is when you made Illaoi" that is a very broad question if you wanted a higher chance of getting a ride response something like if you wanted a higher chance of getting a ride response it as something like "do you think illaoi ( insert ability or stat here ) is too strong at the moment and do you have any plans to to work on it " . On the side of balance they have a team that is dictated to gathering with the general opinion of the players is as far as boards and Reddit are concernEd from that infomation they give a list to the balanced team
there is a difference between rioters assigned to public relations and answering the community's question/giving more detail about certain things.
But most of the rioters just work at riot, and have nothing to do with the community, and as they all play the game, they like using the boards and may really be into role playing. don't treat them like a rioter, treat them like a fellow gamer.
