It directed me to the LAN boards, but I just manually typed in "Boards.na.leagueoflegends.com" and it let me log in here no problem.
Are you saying you try to go the na boards and it blocks you if you're in, say, China?

No, I mean it as in I want to log in to the boards with my main account, which is in the BR server. If I log in with it, I can only use it to go to the BR forums.
If you go to the top left corner of the webpage, right below the League of Legends logo, there's going to be something like "North America (English)", with a little drop down arrow. It's a server selection option, you can use accounters from both EU regions, NA and Oceania to go to the NA boards.
