Can we go back to paging?

The bad thing about show more is that, I can't jump to a post or page instantly. When I'm following a post and I come back to check in a few hours or a day, I have to click 1000x show more in order to get to the last post I was reading.

Not only that, but some times show more doesn't even show more. I'm not sure if it has reached the end of the post but if it is, why is the show more button still clickable? It's like a button with a troll face on it.

Lastly, when I'm going through GD, click show more show more, then find a post I want to read. Click on it. Read it. Go back, show more resets. I have click again to go back to where I was left off. Only solution to this is open link in new window but come on, is it really that mandatory?

Page numbers probably don't work with the kind of shit we have now, we are just gonna live with this trash.

Would be nice to have a proper forum, but riot is filled with idiots that don't care.

So I'm following the a thread that has 150+ posts. I think I got to about 70 posts, "show more" link stopped working.

Impossible to read a thread that has 100+ posts.

If you switch to chronological view, it'll have pages of posts for threads.

The only problem is that chronological view doesn't quote whoever you're replying to in discussion view, so you'll see a crapton of posts replying to ??? and who knows whatever else.

I've been trying to suggest for something that shows quotes to posts in chronological view, but its been ignored every time. ):
