Boards Profile - Update and History Functionality: How Does It Work?

I will start by saying I go against the grain when it comes to my opinion of the new Boards: I think they offer some great improvements over the original forums and I was happy to see Riot put so much work and dedication into providing something unique for their players.

Then, when the Boards Profile/Updates came out I was excited. I think this is a fantastic addition to the Boards system, making it easier to see your comments/posts/replies. However, ever since it came out, it has not worked for me. Let me run down what I am doing and what the results are:

• I click my summoner icon

1. I am brought to the "Someshta's Profile" page

• Show: ALL is pre-selected
  1. My posts are not shown
  2. A message reads: "You Haven't Used the Boards Yet." (I assure you, I have)
• I select Show: Their Discussions
  1. I see a list of my posts, and only my posts
• I select Show: Their Comments
  1. A message reads: "You Haven't Commented On Any Discussions Yet." (I assure you, I have)

So for starters there's the obvious fact that those error messages shouldn't be showing. Then there's the question of what the Show: filters are supposed to mean. From the error messages I gather that:

Show: ALL should show My Posts, My Comments Show: Their Discussions should show My Posts Show: Their Comments should show My Comments

But....why, exactly? Shouldn't the comments I've posted be under a filter called...My Comments? Shouldn't the posts I've started be under a filter called "My Posts"?

TL;DR My question is two-fold: One why doesn't the system work as intended and two why was it designed with such strange use of language?
