Like how that orange 'new' symbol shows up when there in any new post in a thread.

Yeah like i said, i think its because of recent activity. Or possible because this thread has a lot of upvotes but a low post count? I think higher post count moves it higher, but it would make sense for threads that don't really require discussion like this one but are widely supported should move up. Not really sure how it works exactly. Its not like its a contest anyhow, so i don't know why it matters.
