Link, please if you are talking about a thread on the same topic?

If you are just talking about the ranking when you sort by hot/best or something like that, i think its a combination of upvotes, number of comments, and recent activity. So this thread would bubble to the top over one with more upvotes and posts when someone posts, then bubble down below it as time goes on.

Oh ok i thought you were talking about another thread about the riot fist coloring. I was gonna try to merge the threads.

Yeah like i said, i think its because of recent activity. Or possible because this thread has a lot of upvotes but a low post count? I think higher post count moves it higher, but it would make sense for threads that don't really require discussion like this one but are widely supported should move up. Not really sure how it works exactly. Its not like its a contest anyhow, so i don't know why it matters.
