Maybe I spend to much time on other sites but I feel that the profile pages are a little lack luster. They need a little umpf, pzaaz, je ne sais quoi or whatever you like to call it. I'm not really sure what exactly they need since I'm no webpage expert but I'm sure somethings can be added. Maybe add our most recent match history or customizable lists like top 5 favourite champs or items. Stuff to make the profile pages more unique for each summoner.
It would be a good side project for any artists in Riot to make associated profile backgrounds associated with your chosen summoner icon, like the banners for Pulsfire Ez or Spiritguard Udyr.
As far as the page itself, I would love to see some interactive stat tracking, all positive of course. Like total number of upvotes, posts, comments, wordcount, number of Red replies, etc. That could segway into titles rewards later for the truly obnoxiously high stats.
Also, Forum honor could be a thing, sort a fellow forum goer 'recommendation' if they visit your page and choose to give it. Just throwing out ideas here :)
Well to be fair, this is still in Beta. But you can still see the match histories and stuff on lolking if it's really that necessary.
I agree. It would be nice to have the option of putting more information on your profile and customizing it more. Even colors and champion splash art backgrounds would be more fun.
I really like the idea about seeing someone's top 5 champs. Profiles do feel a bit boring at the moment. Maybe they could give regular members a few options for what their player cards look like. I know they gave us in special groups different ones, so I don't know if it would be too difficult to implement something like that for normal members.
