whats your new years resolution riot? plan to release a USA east server? maybe stop gutting champion kits and start thinking through nerfs and changes? how about nerfing ADC meta?

Adding some more items to the game? Ahh yes many resolutions for you this year to think through! :D

I resolve to send in replays on the forums of solo queue trolls when I meet them since reporting does nothing. For a quick and simple ban process instead of this "slap on the wrist" stuff we seem to be throwing around alot lately.

OR at the very least ban from ranked. send em to normals.

Yeah I was being a dick... But honestly theres some shred of heartfelt honesty behind what I'm saying.

And to be fair, a gamer like myself thats been playing since he was 3 years old and is now turning 22 this month... I wouldn't complain about a game if I didn't love it and want it to be the best it can be.

The sad state this game is in right now... is not what I imagined for season 4+ Not at all...Infact I didn't even think it could ever get this bad. I figured they'd have many items released by now.

I did however forsee them updating summoners rift to a fresher map. And releasing an aram map. I knew both those would happen for sure.

But no real new items for everyone to use.. No real drastic change for imbalancing things like crit or mobility creeps...or ranged top meta... Sigh, a sad state indeed.

I can tell you that playing against a champion like gnar top is one of the worst feelings in any moba you'll ever have as a melee. it really is. And no player, veteran.. new.. or average. Should have to feel the level of frustration that kind of a match up can give you.

The riot I knew 3+ years ago would've never done anything like that to us without some kind of way to deal with the threat of being supressed that hard in the lane phase.

The dorans shield was a good change that they should've kept. What they should've done was just increased the defence against ranged attacks and decreased the defence against melee attacks. Maybe leave melee blocking at 8 and ranged blocking at 12 or higher. That way it allows some restrained farming against a champ like vayne or quinn. But a risk is there still obviously.

Anyway.. I have said far too much and probably rambled far too much.. Sound like an old man I bet.... Yes I apologize for my poor behavior.

I just came off a losing streak on KR and I was in a bit of a tilted mood when I got paired with the same jungler who took the role I main and fed on reksai for the third time in a row....

I am still happy but it takes a ton of tries to get into the client! Patch 4.20 wasn't just grass!!! It severely messed up the server.

To be quite honest, I'm torn on whether to commemorate Riot's dedication to this great game, or to damn them for letting opportunities slip by.

On one hand, we have new champions; unique and powerful in their own aspects and hilariously enjoyable.

On the other hand, said champions were always strong to a fault at some point in their release, forcing Riot to cut off fun yet potentially game-breaking builds.

We love you for giving these great things to us, but there's absolutely NO need to cut off things that will A. not be meta-strong later and B. let the community enjoy themselves. (AP Rek'Sai, anyone?)

On one hand, we have had unique additions to the lore of league of legends, with Sion and the Shurimans bolsterign confidence....

Which immediate dropped when we saw the lores of Rek'Sai, Kalista, and even Vel'koz. and don't even get me started on the institute and summoner explosion earleir this year.

LORE IS WHAT MAKES GAMES FUN TO PLAY. Sure, there's the high-elo players, but to most of them, its more like a job at this point than an actual game.

Any comments, @Riot? Can you resolve this year to fix these issues?

Not very, If i still have the same problems. That is not saying that i dont try. It is just rather than modivation to try to change, i only get fear of premature punishment happening.
