Had a troll mid laner and the craziest thing happened

Ok so last night I was in a ranked match and our mid laner asks if he can trade with me for supp. I'm new and shitty so let him know that if I had ANY competence in mid at all then I would. Our jungler offered to trade, but instead our hero of the hour lets us know he's going Nami or feeding. He has first pick and locks Nami. Well ftw right? Of course I don't want to rack up dodges and hit low priority queue, and neither does anyone else so I did the only thing I could think of to combat the troll.

I pick Morg (only have Morg and Annie as viable mid laners) and let everyone know I'll do my best. Aside from a disgruntled ass of a top laner we have, everyone was ok with this and how things went. We lost, I didn't do well, but you know what? I had fun. Other people had fun (except for aforementioned asshat top laner that was probably 12 hours into a vasectomy or something).

My CS sucked, my KDA sucked, but for the most part we all tried our best to work together as a team. Yes, we lost and I know that the thought of a loss turns everyone's stomach and if an unjustified loss happens to someone then it's like the world is ending, but really it isn't. You can have fun with this game outside of your W/L ratio. That one troll loss will eventually even out and it will be a non-issue.

I think too many people forget that this is a game that is meant to be fun. If you get a troll or an afk or some other kind of variable thrown at you that you absolutely can't control, just try and have fun with it. Don't get tilted and let it ruin your night or your fun. Don't rage about it and then expose yourself to being punished. If some knucklehead picks Orianna support and then proceeds to steal all your CS (high 5 if you get the reference), then whatever, work on something else. Practice your ADS (attack damage support) skills; looking at you MF counterpicks. Enjoy playing a game and if it gets too frustrating, shut it off or switch to ARAM or something. This game is meant to be fun and I hope more people can actually achieve that goal while playing.

tldr; Don't let other people control how you enjoy the game. Fuck trolls, have fun with the game, don't take it too seriously, and if you're getting too frustrated then put it down for a while. Have a good night all!

Dodging saves time and does NOT lower your MMR, which means 1, saves you a loss (unless in promos, dont dodge if u in promo) 2, you will have lower LP, but higher MMR than the rest of players, which means you will be better than the rest of them. Imagine this: Faker dodges all his games, and is at 0 LP challenger (You cannot drop tiers, it will result in negative LP), but Faker is no 0 LP, he will RECK everyone and win games more easily. Same to you in silver gold plat diamond, you will have the MMR of a 80 LP say gold 3, but have 0 LP in gold 3, all players in your game will be worse results in a easy win and more LP increase (potentially leads to skipping divisions). THEREFORE DODGE IS NOT BAD JUST DODGE BRO

That's a really weird story because most people don't fight for support, and most support mains are somewhat nice because they coddle the adc

I've had people lock in Soraka mid because someone on our team banned their Leblanc or whatever. And then (after some pleading) they proceeded to actually stomp as Soraka mid. Didn't troll, was just pissed at the guy banning his main. Was a good game, we won.
