I mean the toxicity in this game is so terrible I'm not sure I even really enjoy it as much any more. Not just that, but 1/5 "gg feeder" meanwhile the person saying it is 2/12... Ummm excuse me?

All of these "Tanks are op" Is a bunch of BS. Tanky champs that can get damage are what is OP. The same way its been since season 1. Why do you think the meta penguin was a bunch of tank stats with damage?

It just dosen't feel good getting these random teams that you either do basically nothing for the win, or you can't do anything to get the win.

black cleaver is being looked into thankfully. Its a solid counter that has not been built enough since its 3500 gold and typically needs to be built 3rd or so item for it to be useful on a bruiser.

on other hand Riot needs to beware of tanks are op threads simply because that's not the case at high elo. its the nature of balancing a game for competitive play.

High elo champions can yield greater return with high risk/squishier champions then low elo players can.

Since building tankier will always be more forgiving its often beneficial to play tankier at lower elo.

I'm just tired of the trend that Fiora really brought into play. Fighters/Assassins building tank when they aren't supposed to (and still hurt a lot). I'm looking at Ekko Graves and the new abuser that I've been seeing more of Kassadin .

Kassadin has always been rather tanky though, between RoA and Rylai's. I could see myself building Iceborn tank on him- he's got the spammable spells to proc it consistently.

Also, Tank Ekko and Graves were nerfed. Now they don't deal as much damage if they go full tank. Still a decent amount against squishies, but they won't be oneshotting them or bursting tanks like they were last patch.

However, other than the iceborn changes, we still have Fizz .

He is kind of forced to go tanky with how much mana his spells cost. Regen just doesn't do it for him.

They still are a little heavy on the tanky side for how much damage they still deal. I think we might see another tone down, unless the mage update works well enough to push them down a bit more.

The issue with Black cleaver is not on "bruisers" however.

The issue with BC, is that hypertanks like Garen or Darius build it as second, in an easy lane even as FIRST item, and completely ignore any attempt to build armor against them.

In the case where an item is perfectly fine on everyone else but some oddball champion it is never the item that is the issue, but rather always the champion.

its a good rule of thumb to go by. Otherwise if we aren't definitive with setting ground rules, balancing can get out of hand on the grand scheme of things.

unless its like spellvamp on mordekaiser q. in this case the champion's interaction with certain item was fixed not the item itself same for vayne/lucian and runaans.

The other thing is I do think black cleaver can apply some spells too quickly. like pantheon E gareen E and wukong ult. Maybe aoe ad spells could apply half a debuff.

it may be hard to tell but I think this falls under an item issue, like how rylais aoe slow duration is reduced.

One of the real issues is darius's passive.

Its only toxic when its spoken against a class of player that's more likely to buy riot points, if its a solo player being harassed then that's fine. Maybe it'll get them to find some friends, don't they understand this is a team game?
