How come people who are toxic claim to not be?

This happens a lot.

Its like they flat out flame you and abuse you and sort of twist it that they're not toxic and they dont know what you're talking about.

There seems to be a common delusional trait with these types of players don't you guys think so?

People have different definitions of "toxicity". When I started playing online games years ago, nobody cried about "toxicity". Personally I could not care less about what people type in game.

as you already said it, they are delusional. kinda like certain weeb communities can be. where anything that might break their dreamworld gets blocked by their brain, but they can do whatever they want. these people are best ignored because what i learned from life so far is that for some reason "god" or whatever you believe in always looks out for these idiots. they can be the biggest dumbest asshole on earth, yet they usually have a pretty good life. so mute them dont waste your time with them.

I can try to help you understand this question.
I main lulu 300 games with a 52% win rate. Now with this in mind, I rarely would fk up my role compared to as per say someone who was newly assigned to role. When you play a certain champ/ role you develop an instinct/awarness etc. I personally rarely get angry at the mid and top laner unless they are intenting and not willing to communicate to fix the ssue, but the jungler is the one that I get angry the most. Here is why as a jungler you are responsible to gank and help them snowball. Sometime a jungler ganks without pinging. Sometime a jungler dosent speak up and just do w/e he feels without communicating. Sometime a jungler don't buy pink and expects a support to do everything, but in reality all of us should contribute to help bring vision torwards objective. Every role in my opinon has different approach to this game, but if this is addressed by communicating like I'll go splitpush bot please do not fight will be more helpful. As for me I hate certain people in gold elo specifically vayne, yasuo and now strangely a neeko. People pick these champ in my theory because other notable streamers are playing and think its ok to imitidate that shit and the result will follow. I hope I answered your question.

Because lots of people fail at introspection. It's not unique to League.

People will call you a feeder if you give first blood to zed after making mistake in intense early fight. And probably report you for feeding aswell. Even if that is nowhere near feeding at all.

Ofcourse they dont understand what is or is not toxic. They dont understand what reprots are for or that calling for reports without other reason than lost games, calling names and flaming each other is what they should be reported instead.

Some people have different perception of toxicity. While some players might think saying "ez game" is toxic, I for example, think that nothing outside of obvious sexism/racism is toxic.
