PSA: Don't play ranked if you don't know 2 roles

Riot made this new champ select and you literally only need to know 2 roles. Just 2. Only 2. 2 That's 1 extra role if you didn't get primary. It isn't hard to learn 2 roles before jumping into Ranked. I can't believe I still see this problem. I thought the days of I can only jungle cause I can't lane were over. Please for the love of god learn 2 roles before jumping into ranked. Setting your primary doesn't mean you're guaranteed that role which is why they have a secondary button. It's not just there to look pretty.

There is actually no difference between primary and secondary. It's role and role. This was confirmed when I went into a game.

Mid (Me): Can I top? Top: Sure, I wanted mid. Mid (Me): And I wanted top...

If we both could have gotten our desired roles, why would they give us our secondaries?

I almost would take someone that only knows one role as long as they know they are bad and would actually listen. Instead I have an ADC main that thinks they are good and must win the entire whole game or FF at 4 minutes.

Te majority of Ranked Matches I've went into are with dumbfounded children yet they don't know when it's game-over how sad. 2-19 "You think we can win how disillusion" I left my last 3 matches in Ranked, since then I've quitted Ranked.

If you are good enough to hard carry every time you do get your role and win consistently with it as well as find a secondary that you can at least not feed with during laning phase as best as possible and be useful in team fights you can still climb.

Also, know several champs in your role. I picked kennen top and my opponent chose teemo. After getting easy first blood he said something like God that range is too much. I said ya Idk why you'd pick teemo into kennen and he said "it's better than nautilus" ... now naut would've been better, but that's not the point. The point is, he only knew how to play 2 champs top. Learn champs and learn counters!!! I counter pick ALL THE TIME and I rarely see people even thinking in terms of who would be good vs x champ.

My favorite is people who blind pick yasuo mid and I go renekton and stomp em all game long. I wish more people would be willing to trade roles in champ select for counter picking reasons. So far, when I suggest it, all I get is snotty attitudes like "why didn't u pick the role u wanted?!"
