Riot impersonator?

Hey guys, I did not know where exactly to post this, but I have a huge doubt. So I was playing adc and my support for some reason afks several times, which got my killed several times. I got very frustrated (did not flame or cuss out, not even call him out) and decided to leave top lane and pair up with the top laner, as I saw I was just dying bot lane. It was about 8 minutes into the game, and so top laner did not call me out or asked me to leave, so I thought it was cool. We pushed lane and fought together, making a good duo. Now, we all decide to ff because they were winning. After the game the top laner threatens me to "remove my acount" after he went into the "office tomorrow." I am certain I have not broken any rules that might get my account removed from the system! I feel he was just frustrated that we lost and decided to threaten me. I'm not even sure if he is a Riot employee, and if so, that would be unreasonable to "remove my account." Maybe he was impersonating? Is there a punishment for those who impersonate Riot employees?

Name and shame is probably going to get your post moderated. You can't post player names here. Just submit it in a support ticket and let support handle it.

There's a definite punishment for those that impersonate Riot Employees. Though you might wanna put in a support ticket.

Though as stated above he didnt specify he worked for Riot so he might just be bluffing. Either way he's kinda aggressively suggesting he has some power over your account be it stealing your info or otherwise.

I would suggest you remove the image and cover the names before posting on the board. The mod will likely be removing your image soon.

That's an impersonator.

Only Rioters in the behavioral team are allowed to modify the status of someone's account when it comes to the behavioral team. When they they do, there are cross reference checks to make sure that it's not a case of power abuse. Rioters have lost their jobs before by falsely punishing others.
