For those of you worried about "false reports".

I was curious about how many reports were made against me on my account because I've had people tell me they're going to report me for inting, feeding, griefing, etc... when I don't actually do any of those things on purpose. I have bad games but people seem to be worried that if a premade reports them they'll get banned or punished even if they don't do anything wrong. Or they believe that false reports in general can get them in trouble. Here's what's been "reported" against my account personally:

Hate speech: 8 Leaving/AFK: 4 Verbal Abuse: 27 Negative Attitude: 26 Inting/Feeding: 11 Third Party Program: 2

I have received ONE chat restriction out of all of these reports and that was due to me being 100% toxic towards trolls on my team and was absolutely deserved. But based on these numbers, I should have gotten punished a LOT more times however 98% of these were absolutely false reports therefore I didn't get punished for them. People think wanting to FF is considered negative attitude and they'll report you for it but you won't get punished.

I've seen a lot of people complain about how people falsely report them and they get punished when they don't do anything wrong, but in reality false reports do NOTHING at all. This is proof of that.

How do you find out how many times you've been reported? Really curious since I've never been banned, chat restricted, or warned.

{ "reportsReceived" : { "LEAVING_AFK" : 8, "HATE_SPEECH" : 1, "VERBAL_ABUSE" : 12, "NEGATIVE_ATTITUDE" : 29, "ASSISTING_ENEMY_TEAM" : 48, "THIRD_PARTY_TOOLS" : 1 },

Those were mine from when I requested for it in February. Never been punished btw.

Unfortunately, it makes it so that the reverse is also true. A person can have three times as many legitimate reports as that, and see no punishment.

False reports? Forget that. Even true reports do nothing.

The only things Rito punishes you for are chat abuse, leaving, and cheating, which are all AI-automated and have nothing to do with reports. You can literally straight-on troll and ruin hundreds of games with Anivia + Tahm Kench duo indubitably getting reported almost every single time for trolling, and still only got punished when a popular YouTuber made a YouTube video detailing what you did, simply because you didn't say anything in chat, AFK, or run a third party cheat program, violations Rito's could detect with automation.

Reports.

Do.

Nothing.

From around November

"reportsReceived" : { "LEAVING_AFK" : 46, "HATE_SPEECH" : 4, "VERBAL_ABUSE" : 14, "NEGATIVE_ATTITUDE" : 28, "ASSISTING_ENEMY_TEAM" : 26, "THIRD_PARTY_TOOLS" : 2

A lot of chat related ones when I rarely say anything more than gg at match end.

You also get a breakdown of the reports you've made.

"People think wanting to FF is considered negative attitude and they'll report you for it but you won't get punished."

That depends on how you approach it. If you spam a surrender vote at every opportunity and constantly spam chat with 'WHY NO FF?' and 'GAME WAS OVER TEN MINUTES AGO JUST FF' - then you might get punished.

BARCØDE KILLER5/8/2019, 3:54:28 AM1 votes

Wait, you can request to see how many times youve been reported????

daddydewey5/8/2019, 9:58:22 PM1 votes

hate speech isnt even real, its just a tool of the left the avoid criticism.

i suggest that option be removed

human beings do not have to ability to avoid anger. "he said bad words to me" completely ignores context

How long did it take for you to get this information? Did you have to wait 30 days for it?

Pandemic Punch5/7/2019, 4:48:18 AM1 votes

I bet I have been reported 80x more :D

PaladinNO5/7/2019, 10:44:39 AM1 votes

I once requested my player data as well - if the tool has been counting since day 1, this is between mid-season 3 and late-season 8 the past 90 days:

AFK/leaving: 21 Hate speech: 45 Verbal abuse : 93 Inappropriate name : 2 Negative attitude : 103 3rd party tools/hacks : 11 Assisting enemy team : 45

...and I've never even received a chat restriction.

To be fair, I did get an AFK pop-up once, but that was me trying to play while the server officially reported problems, and never let me connect at all until the match was over. But that was way back.

This is just further proof that players use the report tool as a means to "get back at" players they don't like for any of a million reasons.
