Suggestion for Honor Checkpoints

When someone gets a 10 game chat restriction for negativity in chat. What if instead of the 10 game chat restriction, you guys take away the checkpoint. So they have a chance to still receive rewards since we all make mistakes and that 1 game could have been the deciding factor between them getting season rewards and not. This way it still punishes them but gives them a warning as well. Now for the people that don't have a checkpoint, should get a 10 game chat restriction in my opinion. If they are still negative after removing 1 checkpoint, then it should be a 10 game chat restriction. Just my thoughts on the punishment system since many people end up making a mistake and losing rewards even when they weren't toxic all year. Just because of that 1 game, they end up not getting it which I think is unfair. Maybe consider this?

P.S. I didn't get banned, I just thought of it when I was thinking about my checkpoints to honor 3. Feel free to comment and tell me how this won't work, etc. I'm open to discussion.

Taking away a checkpoint instead of dropping them back down multiple levels is a significant punishment reduction.

I could see this being fine for the rare punishment (such as the first time in 3 years), but otherwise it takes away too much of the actual punishment.

Whenever you suggest an idea, you have to think what is the worse way this can be abused. In this case, people may take advantage and be a bit toxic at the end of a rank season because there is no way to lose their rewards for 1 chat restriction.
