Today we are going over the third set of chat logs volunteered to us. Review the logs, cast your vote, and discuss your decisions.

    Joking aside, I'm sure the champion pick had nothing to do with the toxicity or visa versa. This player isn't performing fantastically, but his issue comes from a predisposition to tilt easily and take it out on their team. Ranked or not, don't be an ass.

    Friendo, if you're reading this, while you're practicing Draven, please please please also work on your temperament. I believe in you.

    Calling for reports, calling teammtes "autistic", fighting the whole game. Not the worst logs I've seen by a long shot, but certainly negative.

    I dunno what Cait was doing, but it wasn't worth getting worked up over. Off-meta in norms ain't worth getting salty over.

    Seriously, this made me chuckle. It feels good that some people can still joke with each other amidst all the chaos of trolls, feeding, and team-banning.

    Concerning the Draven, I feel like you'd be able to chalk (chock?) up all of his behavior as circumstantial, but apparently he banned his teammate's declared champion and stole someone's role. For that, I think that he was probably actually toxic.

    The Draven player certainly deserves some respect for volunteering for this. But I'm afraid I'd report his chat. I voted negative.

    Because this is the sole definition of a negative player. Insulting teammates, calling for reports, blaming other teammates for not playing the role assigned to you... I expected the vote to be 100% but 5 people called this neutral. I don't see any redeeming qualities of this player that would make me think that this was neutral.

    Random thought: Any sense in officially defining what we mean by positive/neutral/negative? I know they're fairly self-explanatory, but hear me out.

    If my understanding of the report system is correct, I can say something like "Fuck you" once and not get punished for it. I'd only trigger a punishment if I continually spoke like that past a certain threshold. So, would a hypothetical log where I'm generally an upstanding player but say "fuck you" once be neutral or negative?

    In other words, is "neutral" truly neutral, or is it simply "not bad enough to trigger a punishment"?

    Or is finding that line part of the whole reason behind The Verdict?

    Dang, that was tough to read. Draven is being really negative. Along with the provocative comments at the beginning, the insults towards Caitlyn ("are you autistic?", "you cock sucker" etc.), the constant complaining, and the "bg guys" at the end, it seems like he stole bottom lane in a normal draft game and tilted Caitlyn for the rest of the match.

    There's nothing positive in Draven's chat, unfortunately. I think the player needs to learn how to be polite in Champion select by not taking other people's roles, then try to be less prone to tilting. Draven's score probably played a large role in how tilted he got, so Draven needs to work on not getting so pissed when doing poorly. Draven, if you're reading this, it happens to everybody! Don't get so angry about it. Another thing Draven could work on is trying not to be so provocative. The comments at the beginning, which I assume were made when the game had barely started and no one was doing poorly yet, were still negative, which is a bad sign. The player needs to work on not being as much of a jerk.

    I think we need to remember that these people volunteered their logs, and I'm glad to see some negative logs in here as well as positive logs. While this behavior isn't positive or neutral I think we'd be better at also giving advice on how to deal with players picking off meta champions and how to enjoy a game you feel you may not win.

    Caitlyn needs to be immediately permanently banned - She thinks she's clever by trying to game the system. Passive aggressive trolling like she's doing is too subtle for the system to notice, and even if she gets reported there are no in-game signs of trolling, so she always goes under the radar. Absolutely disgusting individual.

    Udyr needs an immediate 2 week suspension - he said EZ
