So when exactly do you escape from honor 0?

Been honor level 0 for approx. 3 weeks now since it unlocked, still first checkpoint. Just wondering when this system is going to pick up and place me back in honor 2 range. Haven't gotten keys in 11 months.

The honor system progresses based on the following things:

  1. Play a LOT of games
  2. Don't get validly reported
  3. Get honors
  4. Get team honors bonus.

Most people that are progressing in honors trip on point 2, where valid reports (even for mild toxicity) puts your progress to a screeching halt.

My advice to you, avoid things that can get you validly reports such as:

  • asking/threatening for reports
  • claiming they are done, it's gg and threatens to afk
  • calling others noob / kid
  • KDA / rank shaming

If you want to move forward in honors faster, try to encourage your team more. Compliment them after good plays, pick them up if they are getting tiled and make recommendations, but don't force people to play your way.

So basically this is what's wrong with League.... The chat filter is Oppressive... If you opt out of chat then people report you or spam ping you.. The only way out of honor zero is to not react to people's rage pings and mute everyone. ANother thing is minding your own game. Unfortunately Riot thinks telling a 1/13 player to stop going in because they're losing the game is shaming. So you have to say literally nothing while the team burns the chances of victory around you. On the bright side you can have a nice quiet win every now and again but the losses you can say nothing to anyone. I got told by support that my chat restrictions in to fourteen day ban were for "Arguing with team members and speaking down to them" ... So yeah you cannot tell people that rage feeding is bad or to stop tilting. You have to sit silently and just let people do what they will... Sorry dude.
