If you find your self being mean and toxic to other players, don't feel left out. probably 90% of people who play league are that way. That's why I love the game so much! kappa.

But seriously, if you honestly have a problem with toxicity and want to stop, I have a simple solution: First thing before you even buy items, type:

/mute all

Now, you wont get into any stupid arguments with anyone. Saves time and moneyyy (in this case LP)

Communication is key to winning the game, /mute all is a dumb thing to do.

Pings give you enough options to win games. Be careful,help me here, someones gone, or just general pings are enough. Also, all mute doesn't stop others from seeing what you type, so you can easily call flash timers or baron/drag timers.

To mute everyone immediately no matter what would serve to cripple your team, especially if there is every chance they are not toxic anyway. In fact, it could easily case alot of anger if you are apparently unresponsive to every instruction, or bit of advice, typed. Remember, not very many players communicate that much through pings, especially if they expect you to be seeing what they type. And just saying "I muted you all" will start your team off with a bad feeling before even beginning the laning phase.

If this strategy works for you, then great, but for the majority of the cases, this will cause more problems than it will solve for most people. Although your heart is in the right place, so dont be discouraged if I sound a bit negative, if it works for you then im sure it can help some others too, but you might want to note the possible downfalls.

Yeah I have recently started muting everyone (I main adc/supp so usually don't mute the other bot laner so we can communicate) but I have found myself winning a lot more and even when I lose its not as bad because I don't have to read the ridiculous things my team is saying.

This is solid advice. No idea why you're getting downvoted. I don't mute anyone (so I can report toxic people), but I don't use chat and stick to pings through sheer willpower. Plenty of ways to communicate without chat. Anyone using that excuse probably thinks "wtf stop feeding noob" is essential communication to win a game.
