Not really, no. Only 5% of players ever even get a chat restriction. I think most people can agree that more people than that deserve one.
I have an intentional feeder, afk or toxic asshole in my game for EVERY loss I've had today.
For example: 3/12 Vlad support who chose that champ specifically to troll and feed because they had to sup.
3/15 Talon and 2/8 Trundle who scream at me as a 6/5/6 Nasus with 450 stacks who can ONE SHOT anyone but the 22/2 Xin Xhoa they fed. Literally told me I was shit and lost lane (even though I never died in lane and farmed fine) and that was why they fed xin so hard...
2/17 Tristana with tanking runes... Told her at 3 deaths to please join me and I'll protect them just stay behind me and they ran str8 into 1v5's...
It's things like this we need to restrict. They need # of games probation in ranked, restricted from playing ranked, banned from ranked for x days, perm.
I'm really done with people ruining our games and thinking it's ok to fuck over 9 other people cause they're "not negative in chat". I'm pissed and people vent in chat because of this shit that isn't properly policed.
I just came off a few weeks break because my mouse broke and got in some Poro King matches. I got matched with a vayne and talon that just couldn't stop being unpleasant to each other and it escalated (as these things so often do) to the point they were telling each other to die or commit sudoku or something. I reported them both after the match and within 30 minutes I got a popup saying that a negative summoner was punished due to my report. I just closed the window and came here to tell my board friends that I'm a believer. In 6 years and counting of playing this game I've never seen that message before, kinda nice to get a little nudge from rito telling me that when I decide to report people I'm doing it right.
