If that was the way it worked, I wouldn't even cry about losing my account, I'd get myself a lottery ticket.
Is it me, or do I think that it's weird that every time that I go on here, several people are complaining about being permabanned and not showing any proof that they are.

There is always a reason you get permabanned. Some people are just too embarrassed to explain why. Others just know what they did wrong and try to vent out there feelings somewhere else...

if that was the case, then there'd be a reason for the permaban... so that explanation doesn't hold OP :P

They may actually do this. We don't have any proof that they don't.
Someone can volunteer as tribute to keep your account from being banned.
