If you're bowling and leave 1 pin left, you don't need to knock down 10 more pins for that 1 pin.
If you've somehow managed to get more than a 10-game chat restrict, and daresay worked your way up to a 14-day ban, you are on your last legs.
You don't need a permaban-worthy offense for that permaban. You are already on the brink of a cliff. If it's worth even a chat restrict, you will get the permaban you fully and well-knowingly deserve.
So the talk about "but my chatlog isn't that toxic" that I see around here a lot doesn't mean anything. If it wasn't that toxic and you weren't that far up the punishment ladder, you wouldn't be permabanned. If you were on your last warning, you should have learned to shut your mouth by that point, whether it's physically not typing, deleting the chatbox altogether, resizing and moving it off to the side, unbinding your enter key, or any other option.
