The community and Riot punishments

I have been banned for about 7 months now and I believe i can sum up bans and the punishment system to others and to show how bans can be a lot better. Let begin, Coming from a guy who is perma banned since 2015 Christmas day, I have found out a lot about bans and riots own punishment system. From what i believe it works by chat restrictions then gets worse to a 14 day ban then a perma ban. What my dumb self didn't do was stop after the first warning and now i am miserable, but anyway, the community has gotten worse since i played alot in season 3 and 4, at season 3 people always contently got banned for the small rule breaking such as afk, Rarely did i see back then was constant flame at players on the same team, i wasn't even guilty at the time of being toxic like that back than but as i got a high level and rank started people took the game more seriously and so did I, which causes stress in some cases as well of frustration we see this in our daily community even streamers such as Trick2g, nightblue, redmercy.etc you see the frustration, is this truly a problem and a key to why people are consistently toxic??? no not all, the answer to this is people do not want to work as a team, Riot can not fix this, this is community is the only people who can fix this, You see why in lower levels people aren't toxic is because when they make a bad play or mess up they understand it because everyone at the level makes the same mistakes. People forgot this is the same for even in normal's and ranked. So if we acknowledge people and treat everyone with respect and encouragement and as well standing up for players this game would be alot better and more competitive or even "chill" for players. This is how we fix the community, for a sports person like myself when i see someone mess up on our team, we say unlucky or cmon we got this boys. (If only i acted the same way in leagueitem 3070 ) But i believe if we add longer bans instead of perma bans we can presume and even experiment change on players who were toxic. For myself i understand this is bad example but after being banned for 7 months I feel like I am alot less toxic in games such as maybe league or even other games. It would be good test but it would take alot of time to see if it works. As well i believe we should try a method that alot of other video game servers have and is a mute option which riot can use to mute players for lets say 14 days or etc, but yet again this can backfire with no communication. But i do believe longer bans can have backfire. I still think we should keep perma bans for extremely toxic players who don't learn their lesson. I 100% believe and think with the way we act to players the game would be better and with the my suggestion of punishment can make the league community less toxic. thank you for reading :) LeeSin Previous form http://boards.na.leagueoflegends.com/en/c/player-behavior-moderation/ZHvtVOgv-regret-and-honsety-in-my-perma-ban

And not banning people who are just fighting back at someone harassing them is a good idea too. I get it, yeah, "just mute them", but it's more satisfying and relieves stress when you call the guy who told you to hang yourself a shitfucker and not get banned because it was justified.

the most toxic area of this game is levels 1-15 i made a new account to play with a new friend and holy shit.

I woulda never continued playing if it was that bad.

Constant name calling and swearing and demeaning others for doing bad, AT THE LOWEST PLATFORM THERE IS.

It was horrific and i felt pretty bad for any players.

Thats what needs to be filtered and there needs to be a way to punish their main account after a nice long troll session on some crap account they dont care about. Like maybe check what other accounts have came from that IP and punish accordingly.
