I saw someone use this as a response which was somewhat unexpected in the context. I was explaining that Jhin's W wasn't even a stun, it was a snare. So what are you trying to tell me? That it's only a snare in ranked, while in normal games, it's a stun? If people want to troll, shouldn't they try to make sure what they're typing makes sense?
The Ender Cobra4 votesI believe they were just trying out jhin for the first time and they might have felt like they were being harassed by what you were typing. I know that's kinda dumb but I think that is the most satisfactory answer for now.

Apparently he has a level 6 mastery Caitlyn and a level 4 mastery Jhin(the 3rd highest mastery is another marksman at level 3), so was probably disappointed with the Caitlyn nerfs as a Caitlyn main and was looking for a new main to play.
It might be closer to the idea of him trying out a 'new skill learning order' but I doubt that is the case because if it was then he wouldn't have lashed out at me when I mentioned that learning his E would've been a good idea. A better answer is more likely something like he doesn't learn anything in game, but only outside of game, IOW he just does what his friend tells him to do and doesn't use his own brain.

I have skins for champs I've literally only played once and bought them just to be able to trade with people. I "win and skin" a lot with friends, which is just random skin gift eachother, so I have a lot of skins I will probably never use.
Mizuki Zahra2 votesmost people don't understand the difference between stun, snare, lock down, root, and levitate. yes all do something along the lines of 'you no move' but in a different way with different types of control so if they are new to mmo/moba type games if it stops you its a stun. kind of annoying since they don't take the time to learn the language of gaming.
SanKakU1 votesWell, it's not even an issue of 'he said pin, or entangle, so I'm going to be an ass and correct him by calling it a snare and not a pin' but this guy was acting like trying to aim W was a better play than right clicking them and when I pointed out his fallacy in logic he decided to use the excuse from the title as if to imply he's literally just practicing landing his W. So I'm seeing him not being able to land his W is his problem that he feels like he needs to practice it rather than play properly by taking easy kills, then he needs to actually learn and use his E(since it's what helps set up a W and the W makes the E damage go through). And when I told him that his E helps him land his W, he started cursing at me, so I muted him.
