In the link provided, Lyte talks about some stuff about different methods of punishment instead of permabanning. It's been a while, any updates on this? I'm sure several players would love to have another shot at proving they have become a better person and will want to get back in on the action.
that was back in 2013. im pretty sure they already started out by the whole chat restriction we got for a couple of years, which proved not to work as people will not only still be toxic with their limited chat, but usually will just troll because they cannot use the chat in a toxic way. now we have a set punishment!
That is really old. I think we are full circle now. I think infinitely stacking chat restrictions was what he was talking about. Which had since been done away with.
That link was written over two and a half years ago, I think it's safe to say Riot doesn't necessarily hold steady to information that outdated.
They have already been doing a lot of what you're asking for, between ranked restrictions, chat restrictions, etc. Is there something more you are hoping to see from Riot?
They don't deserve to come back.
