What the Hell am I Supposed to Do

I know hundreds of people complain about this. I know it happens to everyone. I know its just how people act.

But I seriously have no clue what to do. 50% of my games I am 15/3 or something ridiculous, but my team is just calling each other "retard", "f-cking dum-ss", "feeding son of a -----". I am literally spamming trying to tell people to just play and chill. "Guys we just have to get an inhib and it will balance", "rammus please dont call the adc a retard", "its ok that ahri has been afk for 15 mins, she has internet probs".

I can't do anything. I lose every game I'm carrying because of people just naturally being a dick to each other. I wan't to get to Plat, but not because I want a fancy border or so I can brag to my friends. I just want to play with people who play the game. No one ever plays the game in my elo. They are playing who can burn out their keyboard first.

I'm 4W 3L in promos right now. The KDA's in order are 11/5/9 (W), 20/9/21 (W), 10/2/9 (W), 9/4/12 (W), 5/6/8 (L), 8/6/6 (L), 12/6/12 (L). I wish there was a button to just not do promos. It doesn't even make that much a difference how well I do in my promos, because I will start below where I was anyway.

There needs to be a study done on the effects of online gaming and its correlation to sadism, because it just doesn't stop.

It's a sad situation, unfortunately. The only solution I've found is to play most of my games in as large a premade as possible :/

I do the following: Tell everyone to relax and take a deep breath Scold anyone for picking on their teammates Give them something better to think about Eventually recede and ignore them if they are too emotionally driven

Last season was my first time every trying out ranked and not having done it before, I was really surprised by the amount of toxic players. So much more than in normals. I had at least one toxic player every other game. The worst was an ashe I was supporting who first of all, played really bad. And second, would sit there typing in chat about how we all suck and that would give the enemy Blitz free grabs.

She's stand there...to tell us we suck...and then give the Blitz a free grab and die.

I was duo'ing with my bf who was jg at the time and the ashe kept going off on him about how he didn't gank. Problem was, both me and him told her she was pushing up too far. She was always up to their turret and wouldn't let them push to get any ganks from my bf.

One of the worst people I've played with. I reported her after the game and turns out my report got her punished! That made me so happy >3<

But yea, there are so many bad people in ranked. I'm in Silver II though so I assume it might be a bit better in the higher ranks since those players generally have more of an idea on how to work as a team. Aiming to get to at least Gold V this season..hopefully

My question is why do people get reported and banned in game for offensive language but not on the boards for it?

It gets worse higher up. People flame for silly reasons at all elos.

I always find a way to turn my teammates's attention back to the enemy team. It is always preferable to have your toxic teammates being toxic and rude to the enemy team than to yourself or your other teammates. First of all, this distracts the enemy team, and reduces their concentration. Second of all, the enemy team might become tilted/upset when a toxic enemy is killing them/or taunting them with they die.

Some people can't be cured from being toxic. They can however, have their toxicity redirected to alleviate the problem of a toxic person on your team in the first place.

It's not pretty, but get them to flame at your opponent instead.

well im mostly a support main so im fucked since i cant just solo carry i cant even solo carry as soraka with how bad the game goes i lost like 4 games and won 3 so im pretty much Garen-teed to be sent to silver 5 or god help me....**bronze **

5-5 in ranked and still bronze 5. I was at least expecting bronze. but not that fucking low. But, all except 1 game. i did good, I helped, I tried to carry. But, we would get so close to winning and we would just lose composure. 5 games we lost composure. Pretty fucking stupid since its called "SOLO" Queue and you have to win and you can get fucking carried hard. i dont understand rito.. Ur rank system is garbage. Like even Challenger players if they won all 10 they got Plat 1! GG GUYS!

play a different game is my suggestion. and dont tell them to chill or to calm down or they will end up reporting you. used to happen to me a lot and now i just smurf when im bored or play other games. i play about 1 league game per week now.

Even better solution to everything that's being suggested, stop playing the game. Then it can be out of our lives forever and won't have to put up with the insipid players that populate it.

I'm sorry to say it's no better in plat. I reached plat 1 last season, almost promoted to diamond, and almost never had a game without toxicity. I had a game we won 4v5 followed by 6 losses because my team was too busy screaming at each other.

There is a lot of toxicity. I end up reporting someone in probably 1/3 - 1/2 of my games. All of my reports are valid but I am afraid I do it so much they will stop being read or something.
