Queue Dodge Penalty - New Setup?

Not really irritated, just curious... I dodge queue once maybe every 5-6 months. Only play ARAM, so I tend to see the same players over and over, and if it's someone I just reported for flaming, spamming, inting, and more (on one person... you know the type.)... I refuse to be forced to play with people like this.

Formerly I'd go sit out my 5 minutes, and grab a sandwich or something... now it's 25 minutes, and this is the first -ever- queue dodge on this account at all.

So, just curious, did they finally raise the dodge penalty, or what gives?

cuz riot likes wasting ur time. play something like overwatch or something.

Definately got raised but 25 possibly a bug as it seems too high. Normally for me its like 10 although they may of put aram on a higher timer. You may want to file a support ticket though. Although i wonder how much support would really care?

ARAM might have been put on a higher timer if Riot noticed an excessive dodge rate. No one wants to wait for the equivalent of half a game because people don't like the random factor (seriously, if a player isn't willing to do that, why would they play ARAM?)

the wiki says the first is 15 mins the second is 30 and every one after is an hour long timer. I don't mind it since I rarely dodge due to almost always having a reroll available. The perks of having almost all champs unlocked, but the drawback is I get champs I don't like to play a lot too. [sg-miss-fortune]
