Why do people not listen to friendly behaviour?

I have noticed that if i want to help someone i should not say "you better do this and that because of reason X and Y" but rather "you damn fucktard, theres X and Y, why u not doing this and that, u incomplete moron"

i dont know why, but if u accuse and blame people, they will listen. if u are friendly, they dont care. I just had another of those experiences in a round of ARAM when our enemy team had teemo. So i was friendly asking if somone would buy oracle once he hits lvl 6(i was fiddle btw) obviously, nobody did and so it was all left for me. But fiddle with oracle is pretty useless and slow to clear the map of traps. So i got angry and told em they are incompetent idiots(after i already bought 3 oracles). And u know what happens? 3 of the other 4 players in my team have oracle after theyr next death. And i got 2 Honors for beeing a great teammate and people loved playing alongside me. and i simply wonder again, why? why do i need to be unfriendly?

Not sure what kind of masochist players you've been with, but I typically don't react well to poor behavior.

Idk but I'll generally ping the item and people will get the idea.

Look, it's hard to pin down because of the difference of people. Some take to negative some to positive. The only some what universal I notice, is most people do not like unsolicited anything in any form.

I find this works more: I have some advice on x if you want it.

A good chunk of the playerbase engages in what is known as "flamebaiting" or deliberatly trying to provoke players into flagging themselves by the punishment system

That's not a typical experience. It's anecdotal and doesn't match my experiences at all. Furthermore, you could get your account punished and taken from you for talking to people like that.

In ARAM, I often forget to buy that Oracle when the team needs it. I'll die, buy shit, get back to lane and realize fuck I forgot oracle. Die again, forget again. Someone says we need it, I go yeah sorry I keep forgetting, try to remind me. I die, forget again. Lmao. That really is like half the games that have a teemo in ARAM. Eventually I'll remember to get it, but it's not a matter of someone calling me an idiot or not. So maybe these guys just kept forgetting and they died shortly after you rudely reminded them, so they actually remembered to buy it this time. Who knows the reason. I doubt it's because you called them idiots though.
