Permanent Account Suspension

Your account has received a permanent suspension following an extensive audit of in-game behavior within recent League of Legends matches.

Here are some chat logs that were identified as negative by other players in the community.

Riot,

You DO NOT review each case before a permaban. I was falsely reported one game from returning from a 14-day ban, and this reported chat is pretty weak, in my opinion. The team was flaming me, but didn't say anything to the jungling Vi who refused to gank. I would request that you review the other game I was "reported" for. If this is really what results in permabans.....it's a complete joke.

This isn't what results in permabans. This and a history of prior punishment leads to permabans. Once you are off your 14-day ban, you're expected to be on your best behaviour.

Okay, feel free to show me a case where this kind of behaviour resulted in permabans without a history of prior punishment. In the meantime: Your case was not such a case. You had a history of punishment and managed to resort to passive aggression while being on your last chance. This has nothing to do with "safe spaces", you were being a jerk and got banned for 14 days. You were a jerk yet again, and got banned permanently.

Rofl...I was a "jerk" when both the jungler and top (if I recall correctly) were flaming me non-stop. Please refer to my previous statement how "safe spaces" are encouraged by institutions now-a-days. No legitimate game would allow the above chat to result in a permanent ban of an account. Good day.

"They started it!" has never been a justification for your behaviour. Riot has been clear about that since a long time, and the majority of the community agrees. Again, this has nothing to do with safe spaces. You were a jerk. Yes, you were a jerk to another jerk, but that does not make you any less of a jerk. Edit: Plus, it's not like you only antagonized jungle and top.

System works in stages. You get two chat restrictions, a 2-week ban, then a permaban.

Anything that can get you a chat restriction can permaban you. So while this was not worth a perma by itself, it is worth a punishment. You just happened to be on your last leg.

No, this behavior only causes punishment after repeated punishments. When you just got off a 14 day ban, the tiniest thing will cause your account to be perma'd. When you get 14 day banned, it's Riot saying "Alright, last chance, a tiny slip up and you're out". You are deluding yourself if you think spam is OK in the first place.

Please, point out the actual lines that should result in a PERMABAN. Also, it's interesting to note that improvement is not supported. Any form of "toxic" behavior is treated with the harshest of punishment. It doesn't matter what was typed out by other players. Riot claims to want to improve player behavior, but does jack-all about people actually IMPROVING their behavior. This community is becoming more and more of a "care-bear" society. Look up "safe-spaces." It's people that can't accept any form of criticism or opposing viewpoints that are completely ruining our society. Thanks, Riot, for buying into that mindset. What a complete joke.

The whole chat you are being super passive aggressive and just negative. You're calling out gg in what, less than 10 minutes into the game? That, as a player, really pisses me off. So this chat, coupled with the fact that you've had 3 other punishments, means you get a permaban.

Your banned was given not on the intensity of the toxic behavior but on the frequency of it most likely. Both are grounds for a punishment and since you had enough previous punishments, the next tier was permanent banning.

When I'm faced with completely immature players (which are OFTEN in this game) I do degrade a little bit. No way in hell you can tell me that you are not faced with immature players that flame you throughout the game.

Every permanent suspension is not personally reviewed. Permanent suspensions can now be given as punishment as part of the Instant Feedback system as the result of consistent, negative behavior.

I am sorry, but I specifically recall Riot stating that every PERMABAN was reviewed, not just based on an automatic system.

The team hand-reviewed the first batch of cases, but after they were confident of the system, they allowed the system to run without the need for Riot review for each case.

Ah, thanks, Wuks. Although I continue to see rampant toxicity from players and they remain in apparent good standing in the community....MUCH more toxic than my chat logs. Pretty disappointing system, to be honest with you.

Hey Smurph, it's good to hear from you again. As a very frequent player, I know just as well as you do that there are negative players in the game, and I also know that there are some instances where the system is slow to act; I won't argue with you here, as I completely understand the frustrations that you have. However, as Lyte mentioned in his farewell post, Riot is only scratching the surface when it comes to player behavior initiatives that will reinforce positive behavior and adequately punish negative behavior. In the meantime, the system that we have now, from at least my personal experience, has made me think twice and objectively about what I say to ensure that my account remains in good standing. It's not perfect, but it's working.

I'd look at pre /post game chats.

I'd also look into possibilities of trolling.

Then again, I'm not a rioter, so who knows whats the truth.

For now, you were found guilty by the system. So I'll assume guilty for now.

Except it was the third game since my 14-day ban. First game I was falsely reported, second game I wasn't reported at all (I'm assuming). It's a bs system, whether you like it or not. Was I toxic previously? Slightly. Enough to warrant a 14-day ban? Hardly. I had another account that was permabanned FOR ASKING OTHERS TO REPOT TOXIC PLAYERS. Please, explain that shit when 2/3 of the games I've played coming back from the ban had other players requesting reports.

Asking others for reports is a grey-ish area. If it's really used in a neutral manner and without being passive aggressive, it's likely not going to result in a punishment. That is, if it's all you ever do. Again, with a history of negative behaviour on your account, things are going to be judged in that context. It should be noted that Permabans are primarily issued to people that Riot deems unable to reform.

Which I believe you've shown quite effectively by having two accounts permabanned. Could be you genuinely do not understand what they ask of you, could be you just refuse to play according to their rules... but honestly it doesn't matter.

False. The reason my main account got permabanned was because I asked for reports. This was before I realized (apparently) asking for reports is "griefing."

I think your also forgetting all the previous warnings.....

10 game chat restriction 25 game chat restriction 14 day Ban

that came before this last punishment.

By reaching a permanent ban you have shown that you refuse to reform.

This would not have escalated your account straight to a permanent ban. However it is definitely negative enough to warrant a punishment and your next tier of punishment was obviously a permanent ban. I would tell you that it was deserved but I think you already know this.
