Can't Lock in Ban in Champ Select (TWICE IN A ROW)

Riot, second time I have been unable to lock in a champ for bans. This has resulted in my SECOND LOSS (won first 2 of bronze -> silver promos and now lost the next two because it will not let me lock in a champ). Now that I think about it, the first time, I couldn't lock in and was stuck in the champ select when everyone else was removed (I was chatting with a player I just met that happened to be in the same queue). I kept clicking "lock in" and it made the noise, but nothing happened.

Second time, I could not even pick a champion for banning (I was clicking on Sona but nothing happened). Client now says "Error selectChampionBanVI We didn't hear back from the server. Give it another shot." Hard to give it another shot when I'm now in a 30 minute wait before I can join another game.

C'mon, with as buggy as this has been, I don't see why these "dodges" aka BUGS result in me receiving a LOSS in my PROMOS. Honestly, I'd be a little upset if it was just in non-promos, but the fact that this can seriously put you at a disadvantage in PROMOS is beyond belief....

Same here for me, was in promos and out of nowhere Im unable to lock in the ban champions, which then kicked me out of promos. Please fix this.

same thing with me man.. i have to wait 50 minutes before every game now and im getting all these penalties for dodging... such bs

RIOT,

Yesterday my mate couldn't lock in, in champion select.

Today, it happened to me. Pressing Lock didn't do any thing and I got a penalty. The button is there, i can press it and it gives a sound, but the counter just keeps running (out).

It was a normal game, I was support and selected Sona.

It looks to me like the problem is the response time, so even if I click before the timer runs out, the server hasn't "accepted" the click.

I'm having the same issue. in champ selects it will get bugged on the timers and say someone is at 0 seconds. by the time it loads everything that has happened the queue timer for myself has run out resulting in a dodge. one of these happened on my promo.

Same problem here! just lost almost 30 LP for this. couldnt ban 3 times in a row. can someone help me?

I would love an answer to this as well, and/or at least take away my loss in my promos... I've had it happen a number of times, and it's extremely frustrating to lose promos multiple times because of a "dodge" when it wasn't even our fault.

I just had it too, it gave me the lock in screen with a 1 second timer, this is clearly an issue with response times as Healium stated, getting the noise to lock in, then 1 second later being kicked and then having a ban is ridiculous.

I didn't dodge anything, it's just buggy as hell!
