Hey Riot,

(Sorry, I've tried starting posts politely, but I never seem to get a response.)

Please explain how I get paired with a mid who is unranked and rushes captain's boots as Jhin mid. He had about 40 cs at about 15 minutes. Also, looking through his match history, he's tried to run Ahri adc several times. What the hell kind of system do you have in place to punish people like this who have troll builds (after finally building shiv and IE, he then built zhonya's) but don't say much in game chat? He even purchased a relic shield about 30 minutes into the game, only to sell it later. His itemization completely changes starting about two weeks ago. Does that not raise a flag? How many games does he have to ruin before you actually do something about it? Had this been last year, I would have shred into him, but I have drastically improved my "in-game" behavior. I would send an email about it to your support team, but I've done that before, quoting teammates who spewed hate speech and yet they continue to play.

When you say you are "quoting teammates" do you mean you are screencapping the chat to send in?

Or are you literally just typing out into the support ticket what you remembered them saying?

Because just typing the quote into the ticket is not strong evidence. Our memory is not 100% reliable, especially not in a situation in which we were very likely to be emotionally impacted. Screencaps or replays are far more reliable evidence.

Also, a single in game report is enough to flag a game for review. If they were spewing hate speech then they will get punished, as Riot has a zero tolerance policy for hate speech.
