"Not Meta? *RAAAAAAGE!*"
Okay. I admit that in certain situations, it is likely not appropriate to goof about overly terribly with builds. Upper tier ranked matches is not the time to perfect your AP Garen.
BUT
In every other game mode, or even at the other rungs of ranked (I am including gold here.), wait and see. That's my advice. What has BECOME Meta last season was idiotic a couple seasons before. What WILL become Meta this season is going to be seen as idiotic trolling as the season kicks off... then accepted Meta next year.
That is how this place works. You do not win pro matches by doing what everyone else does. You do not compete as a pro if you don't have things up your sleeve. Some nuance no one else has capitalized on. Something they trolled you for when you started up the ladder because you had a theory.
These trends even begin in the various game modes. ARAM is not played like Rift, and neither play like Abyss. The overarching concept is the same across all game modes, but many champions simply run different, or build different. It is the nature of the beast.
So when you are bopping around in game, having fun... remember that guy who is doing something so stupid looking MIGHT just have had an idea no one else has, or can make an old 'stupid' idea work beautifully because of how their mind works or play style.
In Conclusion... relax a bit guys. If they are running down the lane feeding, or raging... report them and move on. If it turns out their idea was horrible and stupid? They still had fun... only you didn't when you got mad. You ruined your fun, because someone had a bad idea.
But when their idea works? You run and try it... don't you?
mid because your E and Q do massive damage? Sounds fun!
