Ya'll are takin norms too seriously.
Honestly ridiclous, I've slipped and almost died from all the sweat some players have in norms. I'm not saying go full ad raka without your teammates acceptance of course, but at least try to have fun!

There's no reason to be angry in norms, but that doesn't mean you shouldn't want to win. Here's a flowchart of what happens when you try to win:
in ARAM: DUDE it's ARAM LMAO, if you wanna tryhard go play 5v5 in norms: DUDE it's norms LMAO, if you wanna tryhard go play ranked in ranked: DUDE it's just a game LMAO, get a life
I got flamed the other day for going full ap soraka mid, and I carried the shit out of that game until lategame. We lost because the other team outscaled, but it was a lot of fun for me. I just muted all my teammates and had a good time. Norms is for fun. I still tried to win and I still played well, however I do see trolling being unfun for others. (If you think trolling is fun it's not guys)
No argument there, but when a player goes Teemo "supp" and (despite everyone elses disagreement) ends up useless and feeding like there's no tomorrow then sorry, but i disagree. Don't come to me saying "it was fun" because it wasn't.

There is a place where you and 9 of your friends can go and have as much fun as you want without affecting other people. It's called custom mode. Go there or deal with the negative feedback from those who don't think like you do instead of coming here and whining about something that is 100% your fault to begin with.
there is a method of trolling called "minimizing", which involves taking a situation, such as the current state of the game in this case, and making it seem insignificant and unserious, typically in an attempt to mask up poor performance within that game. one example would be include: inting or performing poorly, but regard less of intent, responding "oh, its just a game" or something similar.
this seems like the kind of tactic you are trying to employ. its one thing to have fun and try something more risky and cheesy, but to do it in a way that reduces the seriousness/mental state of the current game is a bit more questionable.
The way i see it, if you are so hell-bent on winning, play ranked where winning actually matters. In norms. as long as people arent actively trying to troll and lose the game for their team, its ok to play any champ in any role.
Honestly yeah, I do not play ranked at all. I hate competitiveness. Playing norms is so relaxing for me after a really hard day, but some people make it out to be a life-or-death situation. ITS NOT THAT DEEEEP JUST HAVE FUN AND CHILL TF OUT.
Nono- go full ad raka without your team's acceptence.
You're in their elo with a 50% winrate, you're sitting through everyone's full AD teams, you're living without your front line tanks. You're suffering the repercussions of a CC-less squishy team vs a fed Yi.
No-one's tryharding. Oh, they want to win, but they're going to play what they want while they do it? Why shouldn't you?
I think you're entitled to your opinion. Personally, I think everyone takes ranked, norms, just league in general too seriously. But it's not my place to tell people what to take serious, and how to have fun. Maybe taking it serious is more fun to them in the end. Its not your place to tell people how to treat norms, basically is all I'm saying.
The best thing IMO is when the other team flames you for strange picks. For example, a week and a half ago my team decided to go all marksmen just for laughs, even though we were 100% going to lose. The Sejuani on the other team couldn't go 30 seconds without flaming our Xayah jg, who was actually doing quite well for a short period. Pretty funny stuff.
