What I said vs What was heard

What I said: Lux : Yi, stop going all in all the time. You're 4/10, and they're really strong. Lux : Yi, hang out in the back line and wait for them to make a mistake.

What Yi heard: MasterYi : Yi, you're a god. Go in 1v5 and you will come out victorious. Engage whenever possible, regardless of where your teammates are.

interesting how the type of reaction you get is different when you post it in different boards.

if you post this in gameplay / memes & games you'd probably get a blast in the responses.

eitherway, i had a good laugh

People like that just ignore chat and really don't listen, you shouldn't get bothered because this seems like it came right out of a blind pick game.

some people just don't care and want a time to shine ive seen yi's do it before and I too have gone into fights and lost them because I underestimated the enemy team. but the hardest thing is figuring out if its intentional feeding or them just trying to be cowsep

To be fair, the more likely scenario is

What he heard: "Yi, you don't know what you're doing, you don't have the skill to beat them." What he thought: "Just had a run of bad luck, I'm going to show you how skilled I am!"

It's fairly easy to get somebody that plays very passive to start engaging in teamfights... but it's almost impossible to get someone to stop engaging when outnumbered. Ego. Ruining team play since the dawn of mankind.
