Got my second instant feedback report!

It felt GREAT!

There was a Kalista in my game. I'll write about it because it's funny, sad, and made me a little angry. I don't usually get players like these so it's just so weird to me.

All is going well. A few minutes into the game, support Veigar accidentally takes a CS.

Kalista didn't like that. She called him a c### two times after he started taking more CS. Honestly, I would too if someone just said that to me. That's no way to treat someone. And taking CS isn't a sin above sins, especially on a fed Veigar.

I ganked them, I got a kill for her and Veigar. A minute later, she calls me a feeder. My score is 0/1/2.

Because I defended Veigar when Kalista called him a c###, I was now her target. She called me a retard when my score as 5/1 or so. Kept calling me a retard in all chat and asked the enemy team to report Veigar for "griefing." Veigar was taking CS, but he also had a fully stacked Mejais and many kills.

In the last 15 minutes of the game, Kalista all-chatted the enemy team my location. Like "Vi is top," "Vi is at red," etc. I didn't provoke her to do this. I didn't say much all game, except "Kalista is toxic" and "looking forward to that instant feedback report." I played the game normally and ended 7/2. I didn't stop ganking her lane because she was being toxic.

After the game, I was a bit disappointed because there wasn't a notification. But a few minutes later, I got it!

My point is, I didn't retaliate at the Kalista even though she was making me pretty mad and was kind of ruining the game. Since I toughed it out, she got punished and I didn't! Although usually the advice on here is to mute people, I knew from past experience that I could control myself and not fight back. I just was really curious what she was saying. And why someone can get so angry at someone else in a fucking video game.

While it is true that the advice given is generally "Mute, Report, Move on," that is more for the player's benefit and up to their discretion. For players whodon't have any issues controlling their urges to say something back, and who aren't bothered by reading comments from a toxic player, then there isn't always a need to mute. The vast majority of the time, I won't mute someone. I would much rather know what they are saying, to know whether I actually need to report someone, or if they just happened to make one or two comments, got it out of their system, and then went back to being a decent teammate for the rest of the match. For some people, that's exactly what happens. They just need to make some snarky remark, and as long as you don't encourage them, they let it go. It's all about what you feel you need to do.

Congratulations on seeing your alert, and on making it through the match without feeding the toxic troll!

Yeah that Kalista was pretty toxic, but the Veigar was intentionally egging her on. Having done it myself, I know he was hoping he'd trigger her hard enough to earn a report and it's a pretty lousy thing to do. Especially to someone who is clearly having a bad night. That said, hope Kalista learns from this and works on reforming.

well she got a support veiger which was probably inting so she flammed, not sure I blame her. I got my 2 week ban today because of a support veiger that went 1-11. I didnt say a word until he was 0-5 and obviously intentionally walking directly into thresh hooks. Then I called him out by essentially saying support veiger sucks. Didn't go much further than that, received a nice 2 week ban.
