Remember Dunkey?

Remember his video about quitting league? https://youtu.be/VjzgbZL12VI

It only has 9 million views.

I still am blown away by how childish Riot is as a company. When he asked to be unbanned to finish his video, being such a huge promoter of the game for years, they responded "nope, you're toxic".

Heaven forbid they have any class and at least say something like "Thank you for all of the work you have done on Youtube. We appreciate it but unfortunately we will not unban you...."

NOW, lets talk about perception. When Dunkey gets 9 million views from a video where he explicitly says that banning people for shit talking is stupid and the ROOT cause of the toxicity is the GAME itself, he gets praise and upvoted.

When a nobody idiot like myself who mains Aatrox says the same thing on the board, I get down voted into oblivion. However, I stand with Dunkey on this, and my view of this was always the same before I ever heard of Dunkey.

I will say it again--it shouldn't matter what you say in the game. 1) no one forces you to play B) no one forces you to have chat on III) no one forces to you not mute the player who says things you don't like.

Grow the fuck up. Its a game, the point of the game IS THE GAME. Not trying to micro manage peoples personalities and homogenize us into little drones who all play nice. Fuck that and fuck you.

Riot wants less toxic people. What a joke. They slap us in the face daily with their horseshit customer service and idiotic changes to the game. They take a huge fucking break right before season 8, which will debut not balanced at all. They bombard us with dumbfuck changes to champions, while leaving their pet favorites always strong. But worst of all, which is manifested in the game where now any CC kills you and everyone, even tanks, are bursting people down in seconds is....

...CHANGES TO THE GAME THAT TRY TO CATER TO THE MASSES DESPITE THE FACT THAT THEY AREN'T THE HARDCORE PLAYERS WHO WILL STAY FOR THE LONG TERM. The way league used to be is what made the game. But for a few extra bucks Riot is happy to take a steaming shit on the faces of the players who have been here for years. Who cares about fun, or good game play right? As long as things are flashy and shit players can feel like they are good, THAT'S what matters right?

Instead of banning players for language, can we please ban most of the development team for dumb fuck ideas? Scratch that, I bet you its only 2 or 3 assholes with over inflated egos who want to cram their idiot ideas down the throats of the players. Egos inflated because they have equated monetary success with their ideas. Of course, that is nonsense BECAUSE...

a)large customer base due to entry into market at the right time 2)addictive game means that players keep playing despite massive flaws iii)Less competition in the online gaming world when Riot rose to power Four) Suck a dick Riot.

Riot's far from a perfect company, and has made many mistakes. Sure. I don't see how complaints about the way the game is changing has anything to do with the punishment system.

The behavioral system boils down to "don't be a dick", and you get plenty of chances to not be a dick before it bans you. That seems pretty fucking reasonable to me.

Dunkey deserved this ban. He told a guy to get gunned down in the street, he basically asked him to kill himself.

Even if the dude was trolling, Dunkey was faulty.

Tyler1 didn't get any of his banned accounts back. There is no special treatment.

Reminder that his punishment was only a 14 days suspension, and he pussied out cz he can't wait for it to end. And you're calling Riot childish?

I make a decent about of money from YouTube every year, around 12k not a time but it's like having.l an extra part time job and I love it, you seem to lack some understanding on how it works but yeah

No excuse for misbehaving, example I've dota red around 1000$ of my ad fund to non-profits that work with police and military ( I'm a vet) but if I break the law these guys aren't going easy on me are they? Prbly not

It's not about "being nice". Riot is okay with competitive shit talking, but when you start saying shit like "hope your family dies" or "die of cancer" and other things, that's no longer shit talking. In fact saying things like that doesn't even have anything to do with League or how someone plays. You wouldn't call people half the shit you do in League IRL if (for example) someone accidentally spilled coffee on you.

It costs you precisely $0.00 a day to not flame.

I don't know how I can explain to you just how easy it is not to go off on people.

You literally just... don't. Kinda like how you don't randomly start yelling at people in your da-to-day life about minor mistakes.

Or maybe you're the kind of person that does, maybe that's the issue.
