What are my options? Poll

When the enemy team has 3 very fed champions. My team refusing to forfeit. Every time I leave base I get killed.

Do I keep feeding? Do I go afk? Do I sit at base walking back and forth so I don't get banned for going afk? Do I ask the 2 teammates saying no over and over again to reconsider. To possibly be reported for being negative? Do I complain and get banned for expressing my opinion on the current system? Do I do nothing and suck it up wishing that something will change?

You continue trying to win the game until a nexus falls (either because of a surrender vote passing or because the enemy kills it). You do not get to afk, you do not get to harass the team to get them to afk, you do not get to complain and increase the negativity in the game. You signed up for a game of League - which you agree when you queue to finish without afking or toxic behavior.

In this situation I just kind of farm what I can and hope the enemy team opts for a really stupid play. If you have people who don't want to surrender then you might as well use the rest of the game for practice, never know what could happen in this game sometimes. I've had some wild comebacks happen simply because the enemy screws around too much and the gold gap closes to a point where fights are even.

The poll results are in, the people have spoken! Suck it up!

What you do is don't let it get to that point. If you are losing the game then play like you are losing and stop trying to make plays. Play under your towers and wait for the enemy to screw up. Don't chase for kills. Don't fight outside of your base. If people could learn to do that they would figure out why there are people like me who very rarely surrender.

Basically you have two options.

  1. Stay in base and farm as best you can, and try to defend long enough that your team has a chance of team fighting, or that they make a mistake.
  2. Hope for a miracle. Maybe it's a 2-3 man squad living together and their power goes out.

In either case if there are other teammates who are still willing to bet on the long game, then you should feel some motivation to continue as well. If you've already given up on winning you've lost half of the battle. Your no longer concentrating on the game, nor attempting to improve yourself.

In the extreme event that you feel your being held hostage in the game, take some random person's advice I read once.

Make your own mini game while you go on autopilot. Practice last hitting minions as they storm into your base. Think about what the other team should be doing to win the game. Ask the enemy team dumb questions about their build and see how much time you can get them to waste on explaining why their build is preferable.

Feeding itself is not a punishable offense, intentional feeding is a separate matter.

Any situation should suck it up or you lose for your teammates
