Im reporting you

I am so tired of the children who play this game who constantly say "Im reporting you." Its really annoying and 99.9% its just out of spite and not for anything that is actually reportable. So why not have a consequence for reporting someone falsely? It would not be hard to implement something where the reports that are deemed obviously spiteful get the person who made the report banned for some time.

I'm reporting you.

I find it depressing. Falsely accusing someone with reports threatens to permanently ban someone. Falsely honoring someone does no harm. Yet, Riot does not care at all about false reports and overly cares about false honors.

The problem then is distinguishing the "obviously spiteful" reports from the ones where the person was offended for some reason which seemed legitimate to them at the time, but for behavior which was not directly or clearly against the ToS.

Also, false reports do nothing, so just mute them. No harm done.

your very very best sniper riffle in this conflict is simply to shoot back with a silenced report to them for threatening to report you. in this way. if you did nothing to warrent a report. the report on you would be sent to the trashbin without being punished. as to the reports you silently send after the game will have major impacks on the other persons account for their banable offence.
