Guess what is acceptable apparently?

Them: I want a support who isn't brain dead. Me: I got autofilled. I didn't ask for this. Them: Then dodge.

Oh, well, ok. If I knew that was an acceptable reason to dodge, I would have done it a thousand times already.

Edit: it may also be worth noting that I got 2 honors that match. Interesting, if I'm the problem.

Just because some random person says it's ok doesn't mean it's ok.

I'm pretty sure neither of those players is acceptable, even before the dodging issue comes up. The first one is being toxic to his teammate and the second one is using autofill as an excuse for not knowing what he's doing (when anyone queueing in any mode other than full 5 man should know that they may have to play multiple roles).

If you can't play or don't have a champion for the role you got autofilled to, then dodge. Troll picking is just worsened if your excuse is autofill.

Those players are just plain gross, and to be honest, I don't blame you for feeling blegh about it.

Support mains are not inherently common, but it's not exactly a role that comes without glory and value. I think a lot of people forget that and just assign Supports as the proverbial punching bags of the team. Do you have any supports that you're comfortable with on the off-chance you do wind up auto-filled again? Sona and Soraka are incredibly easy even for other lane mains, and can easily be played passive to ensure viability in lane.
