Cause I'm actually going to turn toxic if this keeps up. I'm a happy dude. I like to stay cheerful and positive. I shotcall, I'm proactive, I like to enjoy my game and I'm the person that keeps my premades level-headed when they tilt. I'm that Good Player(tm). I even picked the god damn name of Happy because that's what I am. But if this shit keeps up the way it has tonight I'm going to wind up changing my name to Angerragehatefuck because I cannot believe what's going on.

Six times tonight. TONIGHT. Six lobbies I'll be hovering a champion, and my team will ban it. Just, silently ban it, then make some fuckin passive aggressive face when I ask why they banned it. What the fuck?? I've literally never experienced this where my own team griefs in champ select to THAT DEGREE. Is it some guy sniping me constantly? Is that what's going on? Across multiple accounts? Stop fucking doing that! It's not a mistake, either, the game warns you when you're trying to ban a champ that a teammate has pick intent on! They implemented it to STOP that from happening! So there's no excuse! You're doing it to grief! I lost my chill for the first time in a long time and fucking raged in voice chat at my duo (well, not at them, but TO them) about this. I'm gonna turn fucking toxic at this point, I swear to god, stop banning your teammate's champion, I don't care if you think it's a trollpick ("hurdur darius jungle not in my game!") or if you don't like the champion ("yasuo? kys lol") or if you've had a bad day because Clarice dumped you for smelling like cheese, stop banning your teammate's champion ESPECIALLY IF THEY'RE FIRST PICK BECAUSE THE ENEMY TEAM CAN'T EVEN CONTEST IT.

Hahah, if my teammate wants Yasuo, I'll ban him, cause in 99% of the games the Yasuo in my team feeds like hell

I had a game recently where I wanted aatrox mid and my jg wanted aatrox jg. I had the ability to pick it before him so he banned aatrox. He hovered over ekko jg and I bet you know who I picked mid lane.

Hehhehehehehehehehhehehehe. Sweet vengeance

I picked ekko

Oh, I stopped hovering Sona for top lane a while ago. They don't ban what they don't know. [sg-lulu]

Had 2 lobbies very recently in which an ally banned my pick. One in which I was first pick. And I wasn't even going off meta. And I wasn't even picking anything that was considerably bottom tier.

Yeah, the game warns if you're going to ban an ally pick, but it's still allowed. Why?

It's okay to ban an ally's pick, but it's not okay to enact a little personal vengeance against them by troll picking?

How about just not make it at all possible to ban ally picks? SERIOUSLY!

There are people out there who just don’t like playing with a Yas. Or a Lee. Or ADCs that don’t like being “supported” by a Lux. Sometimes they’ll ban them every game, sometimes they’ll ban if they see someone hovering it. And while it’s incredibly frustrating to have this happen, bans are there to give you some measure of control over the game. I know it’s an unpopular opinion but I don’t think players are in the wrong for banning ally picks.

I’ve never done this myself, at least not intentionally. I just don’t think it’s fair to limit other people’s bans. And realistically - especially if you’re playing ranked - you should have other Champions that you’re good at. So it shouldn’t be a major, game changing issue if someone bans your intent.

I will admit, I ban Yi, even if he is on my team. IDGAF how special you think you are. Yi players are a problem on either side. Yi On the enemy team = Death everywhere, Nuff said

YI on the ally team = A yi who is so arrogant and full of themselves they will spend the entire game degrading and insulting teammates for not playing at yi's skill level (thier self percieved "challenger" teir skill. They see themselves as challenger tier, so expect everyone ELSE on their team to play at the same skill level. A yi who will also wait 20-30 minutes before they even THINK about helping lanes. They want to make sure they are lvl 10, have rift herald, red/blue buff (Ally and enemy) AND are 6-0 before they think they are "OP Enuf" to start ganking lanes. And in that time, if they lanes are lost (due to an enemy jungler who actually GANKS and PRESSURES lanes!), Yi will turn around and tell you how "I dont gank feeding lanes, u should have warded better" or anything to take the fault of them and dump it on the lost lane.

So yeah, I repeat, I DO intentionally Ban Yi's because I am sick of dealing with the narcissist types who want to pat themselves on the back and tell themselves how they "Carried this trash team, Honor me bruh!"
